There’s so much possibility when you open up that blank space of a greeting card and get to fill it with your words of care…sympathy…love…

I love receiving handmade cards in the mail…my Mom is the one that sends me the most…pulling open the envelope and seeing the painting or picture on the card, and then reading the words of care pulls tears to my eyes at times or makes me want to hop around with joy.

My love for cards came from my Mom, who showed me how to make cards before I could write: sloppily, color-filled watercolor paintings. When I grew older, I added words and then wrote to and connected with people all over the world: France, Belgium, and China.

This love for cards has blossomed into starting this little online shop, Trees of Transition Art and Designs. Now that I’ve begun, ideas for more cards keep popping into my head.

My love for helping people transition well is also fueling this shop launch:

***10% of my profits are going toward people who are in transition. This spring those proceeds will go to a ministry called New Name. It reaches out and supports women trying to leave the adult entertainment industry. If women do not want to do that job, they should be supported as they leave!***

Right now I’m throwing a Grand Opening Sale:
If something strikes your fancy and you want to buy it (while you are at, here’s a coupon code you can use at check out to get a 10% discount: GRANDOPENINGSALE1. (This sale goes until June 20th, 2015).

Over the last few months I have been painting a bit and making lots of greeting cards: photo cards, pressed flower original cards and scanned pressed flower cards, and painted cards. I even have a couple Mother’s Day cards. Stay tuned for more designs…

Hello Friends, A curious, kind, practical, and energetic writer, wife, mother, and teacher is one way to describe me. I enjoy thinking about transitions--in schools, churches, families, relationships, and even countries. I'm passionate about learning, and I love working with people. Stop by often to see which kind of transition I'm thinking about, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Peace! ~Mary Hope
