Trees of Transition

Planting seeds of hope throughout our world through sharing photography and thoughts on teaching, cooking, and life transitions.

Introducing Guest Artists: A 3-Year Old and Her Mom And (Even Small Children Like My Cards!)

There are over 50 greeting cards, one of the designs are by three-year-old Pearl and her Mom Sunny, so check them out at

My nephew liked looking into my card box (and pulling everything out of it). He is one curious boy. He wanted to put the glue stick on his lips (he thought it was chap stick!) So even a one-year-old likes my cards.

I’m proud to announce:

Pearl and Sunny Jonas’ Year of the Sheep cards are up on Etsy (at my Etsy shop–TreesofTransitionArt)!

Here’s their story:

Pearl and Sunny enjoy making these cards together.
Sunny relates: “After receiving a beautiful hand painted card of like effect from their halmunee/(Korean for grandma) announcing 2015 as the Year of the Sheep, Sunny used some of Pearl’s painting blobs to draw on the sheep face, horns, and feet, to send cards to friends with greetings such as ‘happy bday to ewe’ and ‘thank ewe!’ ”

I hope you go see them at:
Here’s a 20% off coupon code that is good until the end of June on your whole order: Type in CELEBRATELIFE in the coupon box when you check out to get 20% off.

This quarter (until 6.30.15), ten percent of profits are going to a ministry called New Name (in the Midwest United States) that helps women transition out of the adult entertainment industry. I already have a nice little chunk of change to give them, but why not give them more!
My desire is that joy will spread throughout the world through these photographs, cards, and designs. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon!

Hello Friends, A curious, kind, practical, and energetic writer, wife, mother, and teacher is one way to describe me. I enjoy thinking about transitions--in schools, churches, families, relationships, and even countries. I'm passionate about learning, and I love working with people. Stop by often to see which kind of transition I'm thinking about, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Peace! ~Mary Hope
