Trees of Transition

Planting seeds of hope throughout our world through sharing photography and thoughts on teaching, cooking, and life transitions.

Pause and See the Beauty

I paused during my morning run today to snap this photo on my phone because I am a daughter and granddaughter of blacksmiths, so I love artistic metal. The graceful lines and cheerful leaves make me smile. Take time to pause today!

Notice the beauty around you…it IS there, so let it register.

Hello Friends, A curious, kind, practical, and energetic writer, wife, mother, and teacher is one way to describe me. I enjoy thinking about transitions--in schools, churches, families, relationships, and even countries. I'm passionate about learning, and I love working with people. Stop by often to see which kind of transition I'm thinking about, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Peace! ~Mary Hope

  1. First of all, how cool to learn that your family is a blacksmith one! I’ve always admired the work they do…so intricate and detailed!
The photo you captured is lovely…I like the swirly design…
It’s true that beauty is all around us! We just have to pay attention!
Have a blessed Friday and a super weekend!
