Baby Bump and Our Boy —A Journey in Photos

Our son is a month old, and I love being his Mom; he is even starting to smile! Here’s some of our pregnancy journey in photos!

February 11th — We had a great visit to Minnesota and didn’t know yet that our baby was on the way, but he was there!

February 19th — My nesting instinct kicked in and we got rid of some of the bachelor furniture and got some new furniture from Ikea.

March 4th and 5th, 2017 We went to a Contra dance down south and started getting hints that we might be pregnant.

March 6th, 2017 we took a pregnancy test and the result:

March 28th:

I relaxed a lot more at work once I knew I had a baby with me:

April 15th:

The day before Easter I got to tell my Dad about the baby (he already had the sense that we had a baby):

May 9th: We got free dessert once we told them we had a baby on the way!

August 13th —we got to visit my Dad.

Sept. 4th — the bump is growing!

Week 40 and one week: Our son is born! November 14th is a great day!!

Having our son outside of the bump is even better than having him on the inside!

I loved feeling his heels pushing up on my belly, and now I still like holding and stroking his feet.

I’m still working on our birth story…and I’m excited to share it with you. Peace!

Hello Friends, A curious, kind, practical, and energetic writer, wife, mother, and teacher is one way to describe me. I enjoy thinking about transitions--in schools, churches, families, relationships, and even countries. I'm passionate about learning, and I love working with people. Stop by often to see which kind of transition I'm thinking about, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Peace! ~Mary Hope
