We Landed in Wintery “Narnia”

Yesterday we arrived at our new home, farther north in the Midwestern United States! We had to wait two extra days because it was snowing up in Minnesota and about 14 inches of snow fell. We drove up yesterday when the roads had been cleared and arrived to a winter wonderland. It reminded me of pictures of Narnia or the Swiss Alps the way the snow was piled on the pine trees outside our windows. Today the sun came out with a vengeance, and I’ve been hearing snow falling all day as it starts to melt.

However, tomorrow we are to get a bit more snow before spring takes hold.

Our son is happy to be here…(his parents are too!)

Hello Friends, A curious, kind, practical, and energetic writer, wife, mother, and teacher is one way to describe me. I enjoy thinking about transitions--in schools, churches, families, relationships, and even countries. I'm passionate about learning, and I love working with people. Stop by often to see which kind of transition I'm thinking about, and I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Peace! ~Mary Hope
