Refreshing Designs

This birch tree trifecta’s shapes excited me yesterday–the flowing lines and shades of color. My Dad’s health has stabilized for now–and he is working on learning to walk again. Thank you all for your prayers, kind word, and support.

Muir Woods and Beach–Place of Enchanting Light

We had been deep along the trail side of the mountain–off to the side of the main trial with the traditional groups of redwoods; then we entered back onto the main trail and saw the afternoon sun slanting down through the branches. Muir Woods becomes magical when the sunlight pierces deep into the glade! The photos above are my favorite, but here are a few more: Continue reading

Patterning Clouds

As I drove home from work last night, I saw texture in some clouds I have never seen before! Thankfully, I had to stop at a stoplight where I could snap some photos:
